Welcome to Riyadh

I cannot believe that I have not posted pictures of Riyadh earlier for you all to see. I took some nice pictures this weekend. Well, nice to me since I do like rather odd things. Have a look at where I love, enjoy.

This is the pretty basket I chose for my fruit bowl.

This is a clay pan to cook with I bought from the shop below. This is an Eastern tradition that makes the food taste amazing. (I can not wait to cook in this baby)

Wallahi sis, when I saw that pic of the masjid (the one near prince salman center) I was so happy. We used to pray there all the time. We actually lived down the street when I worked at Manarat.

Oh ya, I also forgot that it is awesome to see at nighttime. By the way, did they ever finish building all 4 of the palaces next to it.

Lovely pictures! Never been to Riyadh, but I always loved my visits to Saudi Arabia. The best place on the earth indeed.

    Thanks for posting those pictures!
Even though I lived in Dhahran, those made me rather homesick =)
