I have told you all many times about my love for dates and all desserts made with them. I have even shared another recipe a lot like this one, but with different ingredients. I was craving something sweet a few days ago and when I saw my favorite dates sitting in the fridge and knew I had to make these. They are super simple and fast to make which is a plus in my book these days.
1 cup dates, pitted (I use sukhari which is soft)
1 tablespoon butter
1 teaspoon roasted sesame seeds
1/4 cup crushed peanuts
1/4 teaspoon ground cardamom
1. In a bowl, add dates, peanuts and cardamom, mix well. In a skillet on medium heat, add butter. Add the date mixture into the pan, add mix up, allowing the dates to heat and soften.
2. With a plastic bag on your hand carefully shape into small balls about the size of a marble. Roll in roasted sesame seeds.
