My mom always made the best lasagna growing up and it was and still is a favorite comfort food for me. This is the same recipe my mom always used so it’s most defiantly tried and true. My pasta sauce of choice is Prego chunky garden in tomato, onion and garlic. I just find Prego to be a nice overall quality compared to other sauces. Japanese Steak Bowl

Japanese meals are often served together in one bowl just as this easy dish is. The flavors pair perfectly together pleasing even those picky eaters with its light yet flavorful taste. If you happen to have any Japanese spices by all means use it. I was able to pick some up at a Japanese grocer while in Malaysia and its amazing with almost anything.

Kibbeh Casserole

My initial plan was to make rice and potato kibbeh then that shifted and I wanted to try to make the same great taste a bit healthier without all that added oil. So I turned the popular recipe into an oven baked casserole with all the same great flavors only with less fat. If you do not have almond slices or ground almond on hand then you can use bread crumbs for the topping.
