Banana Honey Milk

This is my favorite drink. This drink is so versatile and goes great with breakfast all the way to dinner. One of the best things about this drink is that you can get those non milk drinkers in your home to drink up. This is a popular drink all over the middle east. I use a light colored honey when making it because I prefer the taste personally. You could also use soy milk and it would taste pretty much the same. I tend to do that from time to time and just tell everyone its a smoothie.

4 cups milk
4 bananas
4 tablespoons honey

1.In a pitcher add banana, breaking off into small pieces by hand. Add honey and milk. With a hand blender blend until smooth and well blended.

Yields: 6 servings

My mom use to make drinks like these a lot when I was growing up because I didn't like to drink any kind of milk... they were yummy :)

This looks great. I have been trying to find a recipe for the cocktail drink sold around the Middle East. Do you happen to have one?

Thanks everyone.

Anwar I know what you mean but which one do you mean the mixed fruit cocktails? I have Saudi champagne already on here as well.

Yes, I mean the mixed fruit cocktail.

I love the layered fruit cocktails here. Basically get what fruit you want for the cocktail. Strawberry, kiwi, banana!

You would put a layer of the banana milk here, layer of strawberry (strawberries or even the strawberry juice you buy here blended), then blended kiwis..
OR whatever fruits you like. Just do not mix them together so they layer..

Hope that helps some. InshAllah I will try to make a post on it soon..
