Sesame Seed Dates



Having unexpected guest and no time to make a fancy snack? Look no further this is a fast and tasty snack. Most homes in Arabic countries serve this to their guest with tea.

2 pounds of dates
6 tablespoons oil
1/2 pound almonds
1 tablespoon cardamom, ground
1/2 cup sesame seeds

1. In a stockpot boil almonds for 3 minutes and remove skins, cut in half then fry in oil. In an 8-inch skillet brown sesame seeds in a pan without oil. Pit the dates and roll in the cardamom to form small balls. add an almond to the middle. Roll in the sesame seeds.
