Almost a year later and I still love my Nespresso machine as much as the day I bought it, in fact I like it even more. No coffee can compare to the ones I make with it. As you all know you have to buy special Nespresso capsules of coffee to go with the machine. To me this is both good and bad, good because you can go into the shop and try as much coffee as you want before you buy it, this way you always get just what you like, but the bad thing is that you have to go to a certain location to purchase them. A lot of places sell the machine, but only certain locations sell the coffee itself.
I usually don’t mind, since I buy my coffee in bulk so that I don’t run out and have to keep going back to buy it, also there is a vendor on Ebay that I buy the capsule from every now and again too. I happened to come across some capsules at Carrefour that works with a Nespresso machine, and I really didn’t have high hopes for it so I thought I would test it out and do a review, each one comes with 10 capsules just like Nespresso. I bought espresso and Brazilian, 8 and 9 strength.
I was really excited to see how these little babies tested against the brand, but unfortunately they failed big time. I thought the coffee tasted old and low quality, and they almost have a Turkish coffee flavor, which didn’t sit well with the milk in my cappuccino. I definitely would not buy these again, and will stick to the Nespresso brand.
