It’s been about a month now since I’ve had my Nespresso machine and I’m loving it you all. I haven’t bought one single coffee outside since I’ve purchased it. I’ve also been trying all the capsules and seeing what I like and don’t. The capsule I’m using in this recipe is actually my favorite so far, it’s strong and creamy, love it. This drink is so good, the flavors or turmeric and ginger mix well with the coffee giving you an exotic little espresso drink straight from a cafe.
1 capsule of Indriya from India Grand Cru
1-1/2 tablespoon ginger syrup (will post the recipe tomorrow)
1/4 cup milk
1/2 teaspoon ground turmeric
1. In a small mug, add ginger syrup, then an espresso shot of coffee, mix.
2. In the milk frother add milk and turmeric, mix. Then allow the milk froth on top of the espresso. Add grated ginger or turmeric on top for garnish.
Yields: 1 cup
